The World Vision 40 Hour Famine (2022) was held in July – August this year
Forty-seven children participated in the 40 Hour Famine this year as well as one teacher. Through their efforts, an extraordinary result was achieved with Waitākiri school raising a huge $5,351.50. Top fundraisers from each studio were:
Carson – $ 740 (Korimako)
Beauden – $ 340 (Ruru)
Sophie – $ 166 (Travis)
Sophia – $ 150 (Ōtākaro)
No matter how big or small the individual results were, combined, they will make a huge difference to the communities overseas who will now have clean water to drink.
